The culmination of a recent art retreat. This driftwood wood find had an intriguing piece of rusted metal nailed into it. When the wood was sliced there was a beautiful stain on the inside from the rust. I just have never remembered to take a photo of it.
One of the frustrating and wonderful things about driftwood books is how they sometimes have to be made ābackwardsā but because they are sculptural thatās okay.
