This is my first book after returning from a second art retreat to Sointula. BC. It was literally YEARS since I made a book! I did make 2 humans during that time though.
My creative mojo was unearthed and I was chomping at the bit to get a book done as quickly as possible when I returned from the retreat.It took longer than I wanted, ironically trying to find a bit to take on that hunk of wood, but it finally got done. The drift wood is from the shores of Malcolm Island, B.C. Inside the covers are image transfers of a rock statue near the ski museum in Vail, Colorado.
